It was Jacob & Grace this year. They chose their patterns and Jacob did just about the whole pumpkin himself. Gracie had a good time digging into the "guts" of her pumpkin. We tried baking the seeds afterward, but they didn't turn out very good.
Gracie took some markers to her pumpkin after it was carved to put her finishing touches on it. It looked a little like purple measles. She was very determined and it turned out cute.
Gracie chose a haunted house for her pattern. When it came time to take this photo, she didn't know I took it with her in it and was a little upset to find out she was.
