Celebrating Gracies Birthday in Eatonville

Grandma Sue started the morning finishing Gracie's birthday cake which looked like a beautiful pumpkin. After Gracie gave her approval, she got the "sprinkles bug" and decided it needed additional sprinkles on the sides and top. By the time she was finished, that poor pumpkin looked like it developed a bit of a purple, black and orange rash all over it. Before everyone came over for dinner, that pumpkin also sustained serious damage while riding out it's own personal earthquake. Hence the large crack running through the center of it. Too much fun, but darn that cake tasted good. Thank you Grandma Sue!

After a wonderful dinner, we went downstairs for the makings of a funniest home video. At least we had all the ingredients for it. A pinata, a man holding the pinata with a broom, blind-folded children swinging another stick (notice the length of the broom compared to the other stick and the position of the pinata). As you can see, everyone made it without injury, except the pinata.

We then went upstairs for gifts. Gracie would like to say another big thank you to Uncle Danny, Aunt Miranda, Haley, Kelsey & Jackson for her new Webkinz named Mary. Also Papa Dan, Grandma Sue, Great Grandpa & Grandma for the other fabulous gifts. As you can see, it looked like she was going to take that sleeping bag box down, but with the help of Grandma Sue & Great Grandpa, got it open. She insisted on sleeping in it that night on top of the bed with Grandma Sue. Grandma Sue says it was the first night she slept soundly & didn't move through the night. Gracie had a wonderful and busy night surrounded by her family but definitely missed her Papa Dan, brother, sister and the rest of her family.

Hey someone needs to ask Grandpa/uncle Dan why his pinata pole is so long. HEHHEHE
